PROGRAMS AND SCHEDULE OF CLASSES:
We offer national certification and certificate programs at Medical Educators and are certified to operate in Virginia by SCHEV (www.schev.edu), the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
Our programs offer a comprehensive approach that includes Medical Anatomy and Terminology and a structured academic curriculum of both the important concepts and practical skills training needed to perfect a student's knowledge required for a career in Phlebotomy, Dental Assisting and EKG. After the student completes the necessary classroom and practical skills requirements in Phlebotomy and EKG, they will be eligible to take a certification examination that once completed successfully will lead to a designation as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician or Certified ECG/EKG Technician. Unlike some local or state certifications, our certifications are recognized throughout the United States. The Dental Assisting program leads to a certificate as a Dental Assistant that allows you to immediately begin employment in the Commonwealth of Virginia once all classroom and externship training is completed. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA TO BE CERTIFIED TO START IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT AS A DENTAL ASSISTANT!
